Ditto I don't recall ever having an issue attaching to a projector (excepting the one time I only had VGA and the projector only had HDMI)

Oh, I assumed it was just standard Mac user superiority complex. You know, like Linux users and Windows users all have :-)

Not superiority complex, I just like not having to sysadmin my laptop and having most things generally work without faff.

Mine are. There are some x86 ones that have a lot more grunt though.

Depends on your keyboard opinions :) they're fine for me as standard but I'm very tolerant of layouts compared to many.
