GAAAAH I'm trying to set up sending Emails from my Uni address over Gmail but the uni email server is being slower than a fucking snail

Email is hard, and gmail is fucking awful at interacting with email providers. It's good as a walled garden, but not a nice team player :(

As someone who runs email servers, I can say that about 50% of the pain we have is from sending to, or receiving from, gmail :(

Of course, that doesn't excuse your uni for being pants too :-D

I love you saying stuff like this, because you always point out how the only thing that isn't a huge massive fucking pain to me is "bad" O_o
