They tend to be referred to as 'badges'

I've seen that. I've also seen "brag badges" which I think amusingly self-effacing and "shields" which is a little grand.

I've only ever referred to them as, and seen them referred to as, badges. Given a lot of the time it's not 100%, brag seems a tad overdone
