It's the difference between welcomed by the people, and hated by the state. I've a similar issue with visiting Korea, but they're improving.
I'm not sure I can take more sociopolitical stress tonight, but I'll make a note in case I feel happy enough to tackle it one day.

hope it's changed-spent a day with work in Belfast in 2009 & remember how badly an employee of Pakistani origin was treated :-(
I was still shocked at the casual way the victim ignored it - but yes!
