I don't get the point of having a second factor on the same device as your first factor.

And thus, my password manager is on my laptop and my second factor is my Yubikey or my phone. Authy Desktop is widely criticised, for e.g.

Yeah, I have my second factor as my phone or yubikey Been meaning to switch password manager to something better though. What do you use?

Mmm, you won't like my answer as it doesn't work on Linux :-) But I use 1Password. I really like it. It lets P and I share a common vault.
