My local IPv4 router responds to ff02::2 pings, but isn't advertising a prefix. Bit odd.

Our box is a modem and our router as yet has no hint of a prefix, but yes, I can ping6 -I ethe ff02::2 too.

The only response I'm getting to ff02::2 is from my IPv6 enabled router, not Virgin's equipment.
