RFTools Control: Are these icons distinctive enough? Also for colorblind people?

my colourblind husband says: the ones which are thematically linked are too similar. The checkerboard/box/line are easily confused.

Ok, I was thinking that already. I may need to make that top-left icon larger

He also says that the cross on the padlock is too low contrast, ditto the tick and cross on the crafting grids. Hope that helps :-)
