If you don't want @Twitter to decide what you can see on your timeline... go turn OFF the "quality filter" under settings -> Notifications.

honestly I don't know, but I hate the idea that Twitter decides what quality content is. Censorship is something they do a lot

Twitter does it, Facebook does it, it's all in the name of "improving user experience" -- makes me very sad.
