Installing Ubuntu Server is _SO SLOW_ compared to FreeBSD. What the hell is it doing?

In general, things with all the batteries included tend to be slower to install. Also Debian and derivatives install from pkgs.

Ubuntu tends towards more batteries than FreeBSD, even in server mode :-/
