I promised to make a material contribution to at least one project per week for my F/LOSS work this year. Is working on my own project OK?

@dsilverstone I reckon - if it is generally useful. Which one are you tempted to work on?

@dsilverstone it might be the best win is to market it :) (by which I mean write blog post about it, post to a couple of appropriate lists)

@frabcus Gitano is in use in a number of places, I've held off promoting it in case I get more users though -- Users are scary!
