Very kind of friend to offer crash space, but room has TICKING CLOCK and I can hear him snore. Hurrah for earplugs

@dsilverstone Ticking clocks drive me barmy. Iβm glad the mother-in-lawβs carriage clock stopped working. Made visits unbearable.

@jogbert Rob tends to dismantle clocks when we visit my parents. Including the ones mum hides on top of the wardrobe for funsies :-)
