@rossburton What's the right combo to get basic functionality up? an edison and a base board?

@dsilverstone define basic. You don't *need* any of the boards.

@rossburton I can power it, can get to some kind of console, can get data on and off it, and it has local OS storage. That kind of basic.

@dsilverstone you'll probably want the Breakout Board edition for more sockets, the basic model has USB/console/SD/wifi.
