@jogbert I switched to git because it seemed to have won. Now I don't know if I use it because it's better, or because of stockholm syndrome

@dsilverstone I like the idea of Github, I’m just not sure about Git. Also need to teach colleagues how to use whatever I choose...

@jogbert I wrote my own git server rather than use github. Teaching colleagues is an important aspect to consider. Is a DVCS right for you?

@dsilverstone It’s hard, as most info about VCSes relates to developers, not sysadmins.

@jogbert Aye, many sysop people I know seem to favour git, but they're perhaps tending towards devop too. If SVN is okay, stick with it.

@dsilverstone Depends what your definition of β€˜devop’ is here :-) But I may stick to SVN. Got it set up with Trac too :-)
