upgraded to latest ubuntu on my work desktop last night.. seems to be a good reminder of why release-when-ready > time-based-release.

@crispygoth I'd like to see a copy in case my desktop fails in a similar way -- as for bugs, I'd say "yes" but no idea if it'll be handled.
