Hey @MotorFuelGroup Do you realise that Euro Car Parks issue parking fines for using your chargers? I am sat here with a ยฃ100 charge notice for using your Stretford rapid chargers. This seems somewhat unreasonable considering there were free stands the whole 1h10m I was there.

Hi Daniel. We have a parking policy in place across our sites which gives a certain amount of free parking (time varies by location). There are multiple signs around the site and by the chargers which remind you to register your car with the cashier to avoid parking charges

I explicitly asked in the kiosk if I needed to register my vehicle since I knew it would be a long charge and was told I did not. Given signage is often out of date (or registration systems sometimes are offline) I took the kiosk worker at their word.

I will do so tonight as I'll need to take a picture of the euro car parks letter. I have already raised a dispute on their website though, so I'll try and include details of that when I email customercare. Thank you.

Thanks Daniel. Our customer care team will look into it for you when received. Good that youโ€™ve raised a direct dispute though as that should always be first port of call. Other than that, how was the charging experience?

It was excellent. I have a photo of getting over 100kW which I didn't even think my car could do (2019 i-pace) so I was very happy with the charge, and thus even more incensed by the eurocarparks letter. I'm hopeful your new site near my office will open soon too.
