So far I've seen one positive reaction (yours) and one negative reaction (primagen's) to vim9. Almost everyone I know went neovim a while ago and with vim9's new scripting being incompatible again, I imagine they're not going to swap back. Not a vimmer myself, I'm less worried.

I never got on with neovim. I use a combination of VSCode and I'm increasingly leaning back to Vim for certain scenarios. I look forward to seeing where this goes.

I use vscode for most things, emacs for a few bits and bobs still, and then some form of vim for email - that means neovim on my modern systems just because that's what's to hand normally.
