Mystcraft 2 is progressing. This version of Mystcraft will have far more control over how the world is expressed. Writing is still being revised, but I do intend to have both simple and more in-depth methods, so you can quickly get common results, but dig into details.

I'm now imagining a simple, or informal writing system, and a formal/full-featured writing system, which explicitly use different glyphs so you have to learn how to relate one to the other. Perhaps with the more full-featured glyphs only findable inside mystcraft dimensions.
