A story in three tweets... Recently we've had an intermittent CI failure on rustup I started with "okay so the failure is in the SOCKS proxy checker and since SOCKS operates on IP addresses, it can't be the DNS" 1/3

After a while I'd eliminated everything else so proceeded to "It simply *CAN'T* be the DNS" 2/3
