I have a @virginmedia landline. Nobody -- including me -- knows the number and I've never used it, but over the past few days I've been getting Indian-sounding scammers calling it. It's a bit annoying. I might unplug the phone.

I have a similar landline thing, I've never plugged a phone into it. I only have it because @virginmedia seem to think that to offer me cheaper internet they have to cost themselves a phone number provisioning fee. Very confusing.

That is the single reason I have one. I have a phone plugged into it for the very occasional times VM call me on it.

VM call you on it? How awful for you. I'd unplug it for that very reason :D
