Of course in my confusion I made this poll more confusing by muddling up speed of operation and time taken, but if you scatter reciprocals around you end up with basically the same set of options

A 100% speed up means new time is what multiple of old time?

It's exceedingly difficult when you use the numbers. My brain immediately said "half the time" when I read the question, but then I read your poll and got very confused so didn't answer :D
