That looks delicious! Well done. Kimchi fried rice is pretty easy if you have kimchi. Also if you have the pastes, any brothy soup can be made koreanish with ease :) I like to chuck an onion, some leek, garlic, and chopped cabbage in a pot with water and korean pastes. nomnom

Ohh thanks. I am running low on gochujang, I got doenjang for the first time the other week and I don't have gochugaru. So basically I have to go to the shop πŸ˜… any other paste I should have? Maybe it's time for me to try to make kimchi

Making kimchi is great fun and can be easily scaled up and down. But you do need 고좔가루 to make it. In terms of pastes, doenjang and gochujang are the only ones you really need. I need to see if any of the supermarkets selling the pastes are still open, no luck at tesco :(

I hope mine is still open, but it's not really convenient to go at this time. I have seen gochujang in the big Sainsbury's around here, I don't know if you have any close, maybe fallowfield?
