I suspect my next workhorse PC will be AMD-based, rather than Intel. Completely immune to this entire class of vulnerabilities, it seems.

At this point, I'm not even sure what's left of Intel's performances. AMD on the other has great ones with its latest generation so I guess next generation will be AMD for me. :)
