I just realised, it's been over three months since I last had any cash on me: notes or coins. I don't even know what the currency in my new home land even looks like...

I mostly only use cash for kebabs and charity boxes.

I've genuinely been in places that don't take cash, primary payment method is contactless. Nice not to have a pocket full of shrapnel! Also, I miss lamb donner :(

I'd say 90% of the transactions I do are contactless, some are chip&pin. But yes, donner is delicious filth

I've done a handful of chip and pin, it's a limit of $100 (£50) I think for contactless. Now I'm imagining $100 of chips and cheese. Mmmmm. Must resist!

There's a place near Manchester Hackspace which does chips and cheese and bacon and cheese and bacon and chips and cheese. For a fiver. So much cheese.

See, I'd love to add either gravy or mushy peas to that, but I think it would detract from the gloopy awesomeness :)

Gravy would be acceptable, esp. if you swap one of the 'cheese' for 'cheesecurd' :D Mushy peas are never acceptable.

I always suspected you were a wrong 'un, but couldn't quite put my finger on it -- mushy peas are delicious, and I shall not be dissuaded from my fanaticism! =]
