whenever i lead a hike with friends i usually point out poison oak with a "don't touch it, but especially do not eat it" and everyone asks me if I've eaten it before and i get to explain how on a hike the former-boy-scout @UncleNachoDuh dared himself to eat some and regretted it
Friend: oh I wonder what would happen if you actually ate poison ivy?
Me: uhh....I actually know the answer to that...
