So, I made a little animation trying to explain how herd immunity works. When enough of the population has been vaccinated, a disease is no longer able to spread effectively, protecting even the unvaccinated. The percentage needed varies with the disease. #VaccinesSaveLives

Though the NHS ones are scheduled to be late Oct (hereabouts anyway) and look like being pushed later with shortages :(

In Macc it isn't until Oct 27 and reads theguardian.com/society/2019… but that's the under 65's - though our practice doesn't mention ages just the one date

Ugh. At worst you can get one privately (e.g. at Boots) sooner.
