Hey Daniel, joint accounts are something we're working hard on! Were you after a joint account or just as second account?

Hey Oliver! Joint accounts are coming in the next month or so! We don't have a specific date yet but progress is going really well. You can follow along to see what's cookin' at @MakingMonzo if you like ๐Ÿ‘€

Hey Daniel ๐Ÿ‘‹ Hmm, what kinda non-joint accounts do you mean?
1
Basically I'd like a second "normal" account. I don't need a physical card for it, but it's not enough to use a Pot because I need a way for bills to come out of it, and payments to go into it, without my manual interference.
1
Giving pots their own account number would probably do?
1
Only if I could also schedule payments out of the pot directly, via bank transfer, DD, standing order, and possibly a "card number"
1
At which point, it's basically a second account, and so the separation of that makes more sense from an audit point of view anyway.

Interesting ideas, Daniel! We don't have any plans for a second 'normal' account yet, but the idea about scheduling payments out of Pots are something we're tentatively exploring. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Frankly, until and unless I can get a second "normal" account (and ideally a linked savings service of some kind) I'm prevented from going fullmonzo simply because I need to keep an independently audited money trail for some of my stuff. I *could* leave that with Lloyds, but ugh.

While the Lloyds app is nowhere near as nice as the monzo one, it does let me manage more than one current account, and my savings account, and my mortgage, in one place.
