Irregular. My mug has a carefully cultivated patina. Your mug is filthy. His/Her/Its mug is a festering biohazard fit only to be offered unto Nurgle.

I fear the irregularity has turned. I need to deal with a nurgleworthy mug :(

It doesn't. It only becomes a problem when it makes a material difference to the volume of the cup.
