Interestingly, my program which attempts to select the word which will maximise eliminations from the remaining set always picks `aster` as the first guess.
Heh, my solver looks for the word most likely to eliminate as much as possible while still meeting the constraints already learned. It is super hacky but was amusing to write last night :D

I'd go further and say that a spec which doesn't have clear executable tests is also inadequate. And by executable tests I'm more thinking gherkin style acceptance tests than unit tests.
I agree. I think rust has a long way to go before it'll be able to sit at the kernel level for more than small amounts. Though shells etc are already on the way
