Sorry, realised I didn't address the point - I think `he/they` is essentially like I use. i.e. the person's default is `he` but they're perfectly happy with `they` -- of course, I could be very wrong :D
I tend to list my pronouns as he/him (they/them) because my default position is he/him, but I'm perfectly happy with they/them. I am trying to use they/them more generally where someone hasn't actually told me their pronouns though myself.
Slack has always felt like chaos to me. Discord "barely harnessed" chaos. Zulip feels like someone said "I've heard of this thing called mailing lists and threads and they sound cool, but I also want to ruin people's lives with yet another bloody webapp"
I'm struggling on this one, because on the one hand I totally agree that discord does seem to be going down some dark bandwagon-laden pathways; but on the other hand, I really don't get on with Zulip.
easy, one drawer for ice, one for misc veg and fish, one for quick meals when lazy, one for mice (snake food not computer mice). Easy to look in there once a week and add to shopping list to close gaps.
