My hubby recently had a rant about Android 12 no longer opening the clock app if you tap on the time with the notification tray open. Removing features for the lose :(

It already *has* udev rules, I just think something is wrong with one of them. But I'm lazy enough I cba to fix it right now. Hopefully someone else experiences this too and scratches my itch for me :D
The one wrinkle which does irritate me a little right now is that I have to unplug/replug my yubikey after logging in, or else the dev nodes aren't the right permissions - bit odd that.

Another week, another few examples of "oh nixos is lovely" and no major "ARGH"s. My polybar config was a bit messed up but that was my fault, so all in all #nixos is proving itself to be a very competent replacement for Debian on my desktop.

Hey @grhmc - are there any good books on/around Nix/NixOS which a colleague could buy to learn more?

Seems to me that you are discounting the amazing powers of Paint. Just talk to @Jimllpaintit for some tips.
I suppose, given how utterly farcically mismanaged the whole thing has been, it *could* have been a fucktonne worse. But still, that was one of the worst things I've heard in a while from them.

I think github actions are a tad better than gitlab-ci pipelines; but it's a close-run thing :D I have some projects on GH and some on GL.

Aaah I see, yeah it does always imply the rebase. I think Gitlab lets you require FF-merge
