It's interesting, I never used to care for IDEs, but I do fancy something better for Rust, so yeah I like that.

What feature would you add to Rust from Go? (The only answer I can come up with is fast compile :( )

not sure if it's a recommendation so much as "I have a..." but I have an Occulus Rift CV1 and it's fine for what I use it for :D

I have `dns=dnsmasq` in my NetworkManager.conf and then add requisite search domains to the VPN config IPv4 page.

@popey Did you guys take the snap store down again? I'm kinda miffed at the number of CI failures I'm now getting :(

I've been there before, and it was marked "most urgent" -- it's a way for me to say thank you for your rustup efforts before, and for entertaining me with your rust crusts recently :D

Well we can't have you running out of RAM. Sunday should see you clear of that problem.

A perfect explanation, *and* with kitties and chocolate.
Iterating over linked lists and arrays are both O(n) so the performance is the same, right? No, because caches, watch me EXPLAIN WITH CHOCOLATE YUMMY

Yeah that's the best I've found. Sabrent do up to 2T in the form factor (2242) but they're M-key not B-key which is super-irritating.
I'd assume so, I don't know exactly what it might be. (There will be since it has to fit in the laptop, but it's not specified anywhere I've found) - I assumed that '2242 NVME B-keying' was enough to ensure thickness wasn't exceeded.
Does anyone know where I might get a 2242 NVMe SSD of at least 512G which will fit in the second slot of my T480? This means it needs to have B keying, *NOT* M keying. (B&M is acceptable)

Today's rant - people who call things like the dyson air multiplier a 'bladeless fan' - they have blades hidden away damnit!

Don't get me wrong - I think 250 megs of RAM for a sub-par chat system in a browser tab is pretty overweight too, but still...

For work I have to use MS Teams for the project I'm on. The teams app, which the website *PUSHES* you to use, takes a gig of RAM to sit there doing nothing more than the website did. (over 4x as much as the FF tab)
