I think the last time I really did a huge logistics pipes based setup was when I re-played the pyramid FTB

So I hear. Sadly Chrome irritated me sufficiently that I switched back to Firefox. And now it continues to irritate me because my colleagues who try and copy/paste URLs for me end up without schemes because Chrome has decided noone needs the scheme when copying a URL. ARGH

Oh we default to mic muted, send no video, unless you're called upon. Perhaps that's why it works so well for us :D

We've found Meet to be surprisingly OK for our work meetings. Both small and full-company Friday talks. Really impressed with the auto-captioning too.

Show porn on the "everyone can see it" view, and the code you're actually working on on the private hidden view. Sounds perfect.
With this noone could look at my laptop and see what I see. Might be interesting for people who work while commuting.
:D How're you doing? Been out on that lovely running loop we tried before the lockdown?
I'll be too busy in my box at the muppet show, shouting at the people on stage.

The Rust project uses a combination of Discord and Zulip. And I have to say that I prefer Discord for general discussion, and Zulip for recorded discussion. Both are horrid and strictly worse than a combination of IRC and mailing lists IMO :( I'm too old for this new stuff :/

No mention of nuclear pigeons. No lasering of puny humans. If it's AB, they're being very stealthy :-D

Making kimchi is great fun and can be easily scaled up and down. But you do need 고좔가루 to make it. In terms of pastes, doenjang and gochujang are the only ones you really need. I need to see if any of the supermarkets selling the pastes are still open, no luck at tesco :(
