It's a very common experience when people are used to modern language ecosystems and then have to encounter older systems. E.g. someone used to C# going to C++ or C.
Imagine how bad it is for someone used to C# / Rust / etc, who then has to go back to assembler :D
I thoroughly dislike how if you overpay, haha sucks to be you; but if you underpay, haha sucks to be you. you owe interest, but you don't gain it. Bleh.
Sowwy, but FOSDEM is just horrendous for someone like me these days. Too many people, too hard to see the breadth of talks I used to enjoy there, and with no desire for late night eating or drinking, basically no useful social groups either.
It ends up lonely.
For everyone who lent their vote to the tories -- this is what you voted for, even if you didn't think it was. You can't vote in a general election on a single topic.
I hope you're happy, because the rest of us are not.
βWe know that you In the North have only lent us your votes and we will not take you for granted. Anyway, hereβs Β£300m a year weβre taking from you to give to the South Eastβ. theguardian.com/society/2020β¦
