When I get closer to the time, I'm sure I'll be tweeting my horror at the impending embarassment :D
I intend to do the Platt Fields parkrun some point in May. It'll depend on how that goes whether I want to try harder ones :D Witnesses are probably helpful for encouraging me to not give up. I intend to try and drag @Tim_Pockney along to my first run, as immoral support.
My blog is running on ancient software :D I ought to disable the comments tbf because it's very dodgy.
I have posted my first quarter review of 2019 vs. my goals... blog.digital-scurf.org/posts… Summary - not doing badly, but also not brilliantly...

Mine needs a charge today or tomorrow (24% now) and I charged it on Friday… Of course, I spent 6h+ on Saturday on the bike using it with GPS, so I think that's fair πŸ˜‚

Aah fair enough :D I still think it'd be hilarious to see you all trying to race on a 23kg folding bike :D

I think, for races and the like, bikes should be normalised mass-wise. Everyone gets weights added to theirs until it matches the heaviest bike brought to the race.

pff, my bike has a huge lump of lithium ion on it. Low weight bikes are for fancy people
I spent @codethink fun day cycling. I ended up doing around 15 miles along the canals etc. with a friend. Most enjoyable.

Cleaned bike, cleaned and regreased chain, checked brakes, power systems good, tyres inflated, did nine km to check gears etc. Ready to start cycling for the year.

If I were you, with only 4 hours I'd try and whiz through as much as you can. Then you can remember bits you want to spend more time with and go back another day. I used to go every year and I'm sure I never saw it all.

Surely they already are? Aggregated nicely into that one number "men" which is basically just treated as a slightly larger than normal "person" ?

I cannot speak highly enough of the UniFi we have. It's a "Just works" type thing and with the fancy control software it works really nicely
