Given my recent comments on XML, how is it that the *least unpleasant* bit of the work I need to do right now is read an XSD ? FML!

If you want a ticketing system which is usable by the general public, don't give them any write-access to it whatsoever or it'll be full of shite you can't do anything useful with.
We have a large number of non-technical managers able to use it to file issues etc if you give them the URL to the issues page.
Gitlab supports issues by email and by website. It's a git server, but you didn't specify you wanted it to be purely issues :-)
