XML is a bad idea. If you ever think "Oh I could use XML for this" then just take a step back, insert a large metal spike into your ear, extract it via the other ear, and then think again. Just say "no" to XML. It's your civic duty.

That's kinda how I felt/feel too. Ditto "cute" is a term I find somewhat exclusionary. On the other hand, cuddly, interesting, and nice, I like :-)

It is. I prefer "interesting" and "nice to look at" as terms :-) For me 'cool' has overtones of "so not for me" ditto 'hot' :/

I noticed a camera and microphones at the Manchester meetup -- will you be publishing a video? It'd be awesome to be able to point some of my colleagues at the talks.

I get 3.8 to 3.9 ish driving around without thinking about it, with the climate control on. Down to 2ish if it's -5 degC :-)

Well, they influence your driving result, and at least if you see a bad score but the terrain was awful then you have a reason perhaps?
I managed 5.2 this morning too. I'm beginning to think it's "not using the climate control" which is more important, but yay anyway

I only got to pop in for like 20s and didn't get to ask -- what are the multiblock looking things under your ore smelters?
Really interesting talks last night at the Manchester @monzo meetup. Thanks to all the Monzonauts for their insight, enthusiasm, and pizza :-)

Nobody *needs* a garlic press. A proper knife and a chopping board is all you need. Smash and chop :-) Also mmmmm garlic!

I have, for months now, been whining about how I can't get the same sorts of efficiency numbers others tout about driving their electric cars. Just drove home from work and averaged 5.2mi/kWh. First time over 5. Temperature makes such a huge difference.

Sometimes it just is :( When I'm still awake as late as you seem to be, I tend to try soothing background music. Grab a sleep playlist off spotify or similar.
@Ellpeck just watched your latest and the comment about the despawn clock made me wonder if you could use an observer instead (though it wouldn't be as pretty unless you hid some sugar cane underground to observe
