Here @codethink we operate the 30 minute rule and have dedicated IRC channels for getting help. 100% agree that asking for assistance is a critical job skill.
About 9 months later I got a letter saying "Please fill out the enclosed forms and return them to us no later than <date 1 year before the letter was dated>"
I got a fright-o-gram one year, having not received a "you need to do a tax return". This was about a month before I received the "welcome to self-employment, your number is 'NULL'" letter. Gub'mint computer systems are AWFUL!
Junction design is often pessimised for cyclists, yes. But those who do blatantly dangerous things upset me when they do it near enough to me that I'd have to be involved in the paperwork should the worst happen :/
I do my best to give cyclists as much room as possible whenever I overtake. I wish in return they'd not start undertaking me when I'm pulling away at lights.
Oh also, mailman2's mail archiver thingy (pipermail) can't cope with modern emails at all and just gives you a base64 encoded lump of bullshit instead of the text/plain portion. I wish I could stick with mailman2 but it has become untenable :(
mailman2 does not support virtual hosting properly. I have it bodged but it's a pain to maintain the bodge, it's written in ancient python which means it'll be impossible to run when 2.x is out of support, and it's not very security-supported already.
mailman3 is split into "services" and the recommended deployment method is docker-compose. If you can render it into useful ansible roles I will be exceedingly grateful
