Dunno why it doesn't work, but it takes me to the front page rather than the info about you. As for why I hate the mouse pointer change, I am not visually minded, as such it took me about 2 minutes to realise the reason I couldn't find my mouse pointer was that it had changed.
It could be worse, we might not even believe we have a leg to stand on wrt. withdrawing A50 notification.

Last time I checked, it relied on a proprietary locked service, but perhaps they've fixed that since. If so then yes asciinema is pretty. Otherwise there are more Free/Libre solutions out there, just not as slick.

The DTD has to be the first bytes so that the parser knows how to interpret the rest of the bytestream.

XML is not a configuration language, it's an information interchange language. If a human ever has to deal with the configuration for that tool then XML is the wrong language for that.

I should add, it's fine to look up how to deal with these things if you want to. If I can't see my way to a solution relatively quickly I look up what it's based on. Don't flog yourself to death :-)
