I think that more and more, the latter will become part of the former. Be it as macros, or people writing scripts to automate work.

If ICT includes things like "storing your information in revision control" and "diffing files to see what changed" then sure.
Mmm, I imagine I'll be blogging about the API and Trait design struggle in a week or two, for my USB stack :-)
And frankly I would be pleased to see it as an additional compulsory, rather than displacing something.
I think computing should be, but not if it comes as a "Let's all learn Microsoft Office" curriculum.
