I feel like in the past week I've levelled up my empathy skill or something.
I've become even more offended by people not taking offence.
If you can manage a "I'm sorry I need some self-care time, please let me be" then those who try and invade when you can't cope might relax.
It's the morning after, and I'm still marinating in all the feels from re-watching Pride. Perhaps shouldn't have done that just before bed.
Yeah, I wasn't terribly interested in Dunkirk either. It looks well done but "meh". I do want to see Valerian though. Mmmm mancandy

Thought police are not good; but thoughts are not things written into documents and circulated among people who might be "subordinate".

To me it describes someone prepared to stand up for people less privileged than themselves against people who would dehumanise them.
