Unless you have a time machine, or can massively increase transparency in the support process, there's nothing you can do.
Certainly it'll make me think twice before buying another @lenovo laptop. Assuming they don't ruin everything style/functionwise.

Here's hoping the engineer manages to fix my laptop today.
It's a whole month since I asked @lenovo to fix it on my "next day" warranty.
