We either need apps to become good at persisting state for reboot; or we need to reduce state held in apps. Android is a start.

Hmm, I suppose the outmail box's mailqueue might be considered something worth backing up, but then restoration might be a pain.
It's a cow right? I need nothing more than the ansible to rebuild it? It gets its configs/data from a backed up system already.
