@jmtd 'tis true that #EliteDangerous costs a pretty penny, but it is a super-pretty game.
I am considering doing a letsplay but only if it's a linux-capable game. I'm too pants at XCom to do that, and I'm Minecrafted out for now.

@kianryan I am not having stability issues. I've had one disconnect issue since release.
Running games on Linux makes me happy (yay steam) now if only #EliteDangerous would catch up :-/

@mart_brooks 2H of scanning with a surface scanner too and I made maybe 60k. Thinking bounty hunting is easier :-)
@mart_brooks Sensible. Also a fuel scoop isn't pricey and even if it's only for emergencies it's sensible on an explorer vessel.

@mart_brooks Oops. Today I lost a fat bounty because the NPC managed to FSD out while playing the 'explode' animation. Filed a bug.
