@diodesign @rjek @rossburton It need only be a layer on top of Git's storage model. I quite like its underlying capabilities. The UI sucks.
@rossburton Oh, it wouldn't pull the contents of refs/remotes unless you altered the refspec in your gitconfig i guess.
@directhex cgit is better in terms of speed and look, but can't be packaged in Debian :-(
@rossburton I assume you already worked it out, but adding a local remote will let you pull the objects in.

@rjek @virginmedia It'd be useful to know what traffic is managed. P2P and usenet are listed, but does P2P include steam? What about VPNs?
@rjek @virginmedia I'm not surprised. I'd expected something like a 10x overcommit on available bandwidth.
