@directhex I found the best approach was lots and lots of eco, a moderate amount of tycoon and as few tech as I needed was the key.

@cawhitworth I'd prefer without UPlay but I've played so many Ubisoft games that at least this one didn't crash all the time.

Finished the campaign for Anno 2070 today and now I think I cba to play it any more. Less than 25% the time I played Skyrim and I'm done.

@directhex go more slowly, manage taxes better. Industrials give more tax per capita. It can be annoying.

@directhex Mmm I can see that could annoy some. I endured it with good humour to begin with and then the later stuff is more open.
@directhex Amusingly I've had no issue at all getting into Anno 2070, the campaign seemed to ease me into it nicely.
