@pwaring I prefer easy to carry around. I'd like higher resolution like I used to have, but 12" is more than enough size-wise.
@pwaring I own an X201 and it's supported beautifully. Rob's X200, X61T etc all seemed well supported. Vince's T61 is fine.
@pwaring I will admit that I know nothing about the L series. To me, Thinkpads start with X or T and nothing more.
@pwaring Cripes. Lenovo direct were only about 15 quid more than crucial to upgrade my X201 to 8GB of RAM. LD are not always the cheapest.

@jogbert grub isn't bad. grub2 is a total pain.
