@pwaring I own an X201 and it's supported beautifully. Rob's X200, X61T etc all seemed well supported. Vince's T61 is fine.

@pwaring I will admit that I know nothing about the L series. To me, Thinkpads start with X or T and nothing more.

@pwaring Cripes. Lenovo direct were only about 15 quid more than crucial to upgrade my X201 to 8GB of RAM. LD are not always the cheapest.

@jmtd @pwaring IMO, bzip2 usually helps the most on large source code repos. Also with modern processors and pbzip2, it's hardly a worry.
