Why do no sites offer parametric search of gfx cards based on what sockets they have? I want an nvidia dual DVI-I card. ARGH.
@jmtd dynamic workspaces would drive me mad since I spatially arrange my workspaces.
@jmtd So long as I can turn it all off and go back to a classic desktop; I don't mind that. However if I had to use it, I'd switch to xfce.

@keybuk 30 minutes after starting to try unity I gave up and went to classic desktop, removed the menu breakage and carried on as usual.
