Based on how I've only had one more hit on my followees moving to mastodon, I'm moving up my plan to turn off my account here. I shall be shutting off my access to Twitter at the end of next week. I am @kinnison@fosstodon.org if you're newly moved and haven't remembered me.

110 of the people I follow still have not published a mastodon identity in their profiles. I've only picked up one more in the past week, so if this trend continues, I'll be leaving this account for dead much sooner than I expected.

Here's your friendly repeat reminder - I'm now @kinnison@fosstodon.org and as I notice content being on the fediverse I am unfollowing people here so that I can better see who I'm losing out on. I expect to lock down my account and ignore this platform by the end of the year.

As I start to notice people's content being more on the fediverse than here, I intend to start unfollowing people so that I can see what mess I have left. I am unlikely to post much if anything on here going into the future, but I'll keep the handle for now.

As I have been for the past few years, Rust, likely in VS Code, or perhaps just vim. Really looking forward to this, thank you so much for doing it again.

I dunno, packing twelve chickens into an oven seems like it'd need quite a bit of skill.

Easy way to not need to become a skilled carver - serve an entire chicken to each guest and say "It's carve-for-yourself!"

I'd love to be able to say "me" but I've never done anything like that before - all the UEFI/Rust people I can find are either employed elsewise, or even Microsoft security people. :(

I'm pretty sure we had CP/M on a floppy but it's a long long time ago to remember :D

The last CP/M computer I had was a Grundy Newbrain, which I belive would fit the bill - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grundy… Some of them even had a VFD on the computer giving you an extra bit of display

I cheated and found someone at a parkrun who had some and would let me try them on - might be harder these days :/

I find my Aeropex Aftershokz comfortable to lie in bed with for upwards of an hour, but I don't do it that often or for much longer than that.

I gave up on earbuds and switched to bone conduction headsets. Not quite as fancy, but they work and leave my ears unfilled so I don't get sweaty.
