I ran the Bolton Bauble 10k trail with Phil and @reiterative and it was hard. Final time was 1:18:49. Before and after pics included. I only fell over five times.
Experiment was both positive and negative, results - wise
27:18 unofficial time is good when I say I was trying for a sustainable 10k pace.
But when I say it was super hard, it shows my experiment around pre-feeding was a fail.
People are doing a 1999/2009/2019 photo montage thing. I found a shot from a holiday in 2000, so that'll have to do. From France, to a family cat, to the aftermath of a 10k in Barcelona. What a half-life.
I had a gentle run around South Manchester parkrun today. Official time of 27:11. Nothing major, but a damned consistent pace all the way. (modulo sprint finish)
