The "return to work" line being pushed by the government is deliberately disingenuous.
It's meant to convey an image of metropolitan laziness to their base and try and trigger guilt in those at home.
I'm working damn hard at home.
The correct phrase is 'return to the office'.

gonna keep thinking about how rust pulled off something that shouldn't work on paper: making devs "do more work" with more static modelling and a very hard-to-please compiler, and ended up with anyone going "this is actually great"

Being me, and with the current state of politics in this country and around the world, I compute it will take approximately... fifteen to thirty minutes to need to stand down. (just long enough to rant in a maiden speech)

Looks like I need to become an MP long enough for it to fuck my mental health so I can stand down and get a nice big pension.
If an MP stands down for ill health reasons, an ill health retirement grant is payable, calculated in the same way as the Resettlement Grant, as well as an immediate pension based on the service the MP would have accrued if he or she had continued to serve until age 65.

It has been a while, but thanks to the efforts of my colleagues and some effort today, my fitness age is back below my calendar age. Not bad for a fat old ginger eh?
